In addition to waging jihad against infidels and apostates, the Iranian terrorist organization Hezbollah apparently now intends to invest in doctors, medical equipment, and clinics to treat coronavirus patients in Lebanon, waging what Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called “doing Jihad for the sake of God.”
Hezbollah is reportedly “deploying 1,500 doctors, 3,000 nurses and paramedics and 20,000 more activists” to help contain the coronavirus outbreak in Lebanon. It’s unclear where Hezbollah is finding these medical personnel; the “activists” are presumably jihadists.
“It is a real war that we must confront with the mindset of a warrior,” Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, head of Hezbollah’s executive council, as said on television. “Our role is to complement the government apparatus and not to stand in its place.”
He described the terrorist organization as “fighting coronavirus with capabilities initially put to confront war and aggression” — the kind of war and aggression it usually directs against Westerners and Jews.
