Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night talk show, White House 2020 contender Kamala Harris declared that President Trump’s verbal attacks on the four radical freshman Democrat Congresswoman called “the Squad” have “defiled” the presidency.
“He has defiled the office of the President of the United States,” Harris said. “This individual believes that his power is to beat people down instead of the real power, lifting people up… That’s why I also called him a coward.”
Harris went on to characterize Trump as a bullying predator like the ones she used to prosecute as California’s Attorney General, when in fact, Trump’s “attacks” have merely consisted of calling out the Squad — Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley — for their routine public expressions of anti-Semitism, anti-Americanism, and racial division.
