Thursday on MSNBC, failed presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris complained that Atty. Gen. Bill Barr’s Department of Justice dropped the case against former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, claiming Barr is doing President Trump’s “political bidding.”
“A full year ago, I called for Bill Barr to resign,” Harris said. “He clearly has never followed the role, the responsibility, and the mission of the attorney general, which is to be the people’s lawyer. He has instead consistently done Donald Trump’s bidding, and this is yet another example.” She added that the move was “outrageous.”
Predictably, Harris pushed the Democrats’ relentless, pre-election talking point against Trump, decrying his “abject failure of leadership, abandonment of leadership when the American people need their government the most” — referring to the coronavirus pandemic, which Democrats have intentionally exacerbated in order to blame the President.
Irrefutable evidence has emerged that Lt. Gen. Flynn was targeted by, and framed by, Deep State operatives, whom Trump has labeled treasonous “scum.”
