Tuesday on MSNBC’s The ReidOut, failed presidential nominee Kamala Harris called AG William Barr “an aider, abettor to the most corrupt president we’ve ever had.”
Regarding Barr’s testimony to Congress today, Harris said he’s been “less than forthright” with Congress and the American people. “And frankly, I think that history is going to show that he has been an aider and abetter to the most corrupt president we’ve ever had. That’s just the fact.” Fact check: false.
Harris went on to blather that Barr “has performed his duties as though he is the personal lawyer” for Donald Trump, adding that Dems need to win in November “and have a real system of justice in America that reflects our ideals of democracy and adheres to the principles of the Constitution.” We all know what Democrats think of the principles of the Constitution.
Despite obsessing over investigations for Trump’s entire term, the Democrats have nothing on him or Barr, which is why Harris has to assert weakly that she thinks “history will show” they are corrupt.
