On MSNBC’s All In on Wednesday, Democrat Rep. Al Green once again called for the impeachment of President Trump, this time over a Washington Post report that the President has told officials he will issue pardons if government employees have to break laws in order to get the wall on our border with Mexico done.
When asked if that pardon offer is impeachable, Green replied, “Yes, it does constitute an impeachable offense.”
“[Trump] is willing to do whatever he thinks he can to satiate his base. He has promised them a wall. He will deliver a wall by any means possible,” Green continued.
“He is encouraging the breaking of the law and a president can’t do this,” the impeachment-obsessed Congressman from Texas added.
Green has called for the impeachment of Trump so often — citing his purported “high misdemeanors” and support for “White Nationalism, Neo-Nazism and Hate” — that one wonders if he actually does anything for his constituents.
