On MSNBC’s Weekends With Alex Witt Sunday, Rep. Al Green alleged that President Trump’s “hate” has caused “societal changes in a very harmful way.”
“The president has done some things to cause societal changes in a very harmful way,” Green claimed. Offering no evidence, he went on to blame Trump — the most pro-Israel president in history, whose own daughter converted to Judaism — for the rise of anti-Semitism.
“And the president is contributing to this with his words, deeds, and actions. ‘There are very fine people’ among the bigots in Charlottesville, where a woman was killed, to saying Muslims ought to be banned from the country and then put a policy in place, to use [the word] ‘lynching,’ [regarding impeachment]…”
Trump never called Charlottesville bigots “very fine people.” He never said Muslims should be banned from the country. These are the lies Trump-deranged Democrats like Green keep perpetuating to justify their own hate.
