Gov. Cuomo: Trump’s Pandemic Response Is ‘Chaos’

August 4, 2020

Monday on MSNBC’s Deadline, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who is personally responsible for the disastrous handling of the coronavirus in his own state, called President Trump’s response to the pandemic “chaos.”

“The virus is increasing all across the country. We are seeing the numbers going up,” Cuomo blathered. “They’re going up in the Midwest. We see the health experts, Johns Hopkins, and others now saying the nation has to hit a reset. We do need a reset. The reset has to start at the top. We have confusion. We have chaos. We don’t have operations set up. It has to start with the president of the United States. He has to stand up and say what he didn’t say six months ago. He has to say to the American people that COVID is serious…

He added, “Look, I think the federal officials the White House, Dr. Birx, the secretary, they’re sending the exact wrong message, they’ve learned nothing in six months”

Monday on Fox News Channel’s Ingraham Angle, VP Mike Pence responded, correctly slamming “poor decisions by the state and by Gov. Cuomo.” As for Cuomo’s criticisms, Pence added, “I think people see through that. It’s just politics.”
