During a press conference on Sunday, failed candidate for the Democrat presidential nominee Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand declared seriously that she does not think that there is “a human being alive” who could unite the country like Sen. Chuck Schumer.
“I don’t think there’s a human being alive in America today that could do a better job than Chuck Schumer in this moment to bring this country back together,” Gillibrand told reporters.
Gillibrand’s idea of healing and uniting is to expel Trump from office, as she told reporters a few days earlier, because she thinks “he is a dangerous person.”
Twitter users didn’t seem to agree with Gillibrand’s bizarre suggestion that the hateful Schumer is the best person to unite Americans. One user posted a picture of his puppy, saying his dog “Buddy” could do a better job than Schumer.
