Gillibrand Doesn’t ‘Believe All Women,’ Stands With Biden

April 29, 2020

Failed presidential candidate Kirsten Gillibrand, one of Congress’s most vocal supporters of the #MeToo movement, said on a conference call Tuesday that she stands by presumptive Democrat nominee Joe Biden, who has remained silent about a sexual assault allegation from former Senate staffer Tara Reade.

Reade says Biden pushed her against a wall in the basement of a Capitol Hill office building in 1993, groped her, and penetrated her with his fingers. “He was whispering to me and trying to kiss me at the same time, and he was saying, ‘Do you want to go somewhere else?’” she said.

“I stand by Vice President Biden,” said Gillibrand. “He’s devoted his life to supporting women and he has vehemently denied this allegation.”

Apparently if Democrat sexual assaulters “vehemently deny” the allegations, that’s good enough for the #MeToo movement, whose motto is “Believe all women.” Gosh, if only Justice Brett Kavanaugh had vehemently denied his decades-old, unsubstantiated allegation…
