White House hopeful Tulsi Gabbard lashed out at failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Friday, calling her the “queen of warmongers” for smearing her in the mainstream media as a Russian asset.
In a podcast earlier Friday, Hillary suggested Gabbard was being “groomed” by Russia as a potential third-party candidate, calling her “the favorite of the Russians.” This echoed an accusation last weekend by the New York Times, which called Gabbard “a potentially useful vector for Russian efforts to sow division within the Democratic Party.”
“Thank you @HillaryClinton,” Gabbard tweeted. “You, the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long, have finally come out from behind the curtain.” She went on to say Hillary was behind the “campaign to destroy my reputation.”
“It’s now clear that this primary is between you and me. Don’t cowardly hide behind your proxies. Join the race directly,” Gabbard challenged.
