Tuesday on MSNBC’s All In, former Saturday Night Live “comedian” and former Sen. Al Franken called President Trump “a grown man who can’t admit he lost” the 2020 presidential election.
Asked by the host about Trump threatening to veto the absurdly pork-packed coronavirus stimulus bill, Franken replied, “This is not the time you threaten to veto a bill. First of all, he should have been there negotiating the whole time. And you’re right. He’s just been completely AWOL. Not even just since the election but pretty much AWOL before, certainly on these talks. I mean, Mnuchin kind of participated in them.”
Fact check: one thing you cannot say about President Trump is that he was AWOL for any aspect of his duties as President. One would be hard-pressed to name a harder-working man in the White House. Another fact-check: this is the time to veto this bill, which is bloated by hundreds of millions of dollars wasted on the Democrats’ globalist, open-borders agenda while short-changing American citizens.
Smug jerk Franken, who has no political insight to offer, added, “You know, this guy’s been awful the whole way, but he’s just gotten worse and worse and worse and worse. And this, what he’s doing right now is a travesty. He’s a grown man who can’t admit he lost.”
Perhaps that is because Trump has not lost the election. If Joe Biden ends up in the Oval Office, it will be because the election was stolen and media enablers like MSNBC legitimized it.
