Tuesday during the Supreme Court confirmation hearing, Sen. Dianne Feinstein fear-mongered that nominee Amy Coney Barrett will, if confirmed, “vote to strip millions of Americans of their health care.”

“In a 2015 interview, Judge Amy Coney Barrett said she disagrees with the Supreme Court’s second decision to uphold the ACA. Let’s be clear: if confirmed, she will vote to strip millions of Americans of their health care,” Feinstein lied.

Other high-profile Democrats, including cognitively-challenged Joe Biden, who said Barrett “wants to get rid of the Affordable Care Act,” have made similar false claims regarding Barrett’s position on Obamacare. What she has done, as Breitbart News noted, is criticize the method by which the ACA was upheld.

Barrett reassured the Democrats during the hearing, telling Sen. Dick Durbin, “But I think that your concern is because I critiqued the statutory reasoning, that I’m hostile to the ACA, and that because I’m hostile to the ACA, that I would decide a case a particular way. And I assure you that I am not. I’m not hostile to the ACA. I’m not hostile to any statute that you pass.”
