On ABC’s This Week Sunday, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) said the federal judge ruling that the Affordable Care Act is unconstitutional means bad news for Republicans.
“I think the judge, the Republican attorneys general who brought this lawsuit didn’t do the Republican Party any favor,” Durbin said. “The largest issue in the November 6 election… was the Affordable Care Act and whether it would cover people with pre-existing conditions.
“It once again puts Republicans in Washington on the spot,” Durbin continued. “If you’re going to take away the Affordable Care Act, how will you protect the millions of people currently using it for health insurance for their family?”
