Thursday on Fox News Channel’s America’s Newsroom, Sen. Dick Durbin predicted that Democrat nominee Joe Biden’s acceptance speech scheduled for later in the day at the Democratic National Convention would offer a “hopeful view of the future of America.”
“I think what you will hear from Joe Biden is pretty obvious: a hopeful view of the future of America that we can build this country, our economy, and conquer this virus in a positive way and move forward,” Durbin said. “That’s what people look for in an election and a campaign. They want a promise to the future, and I think that is what Joe Biden’s going to address tonight.”
“The first concern is the coronavirus,” Durbin continued. “[Americans] realize that this president from the beginning has told them not to worry about a pandemic which has taken over 170,000 American lives.”
What Americans realize is that the left wants to pin the pandemic on Trump, but in fact it is Democrat governors around the country who have grossly mishandled it. As for Biden’s hopeful view of the future, you can see it currently playing out in the streets of Portland, Seattle, and other urban areas ravaged by Democrat policies and lawlessness.
