Thursday on MSNBC’s The Beat, pathetic demagogue and former Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean claimed falsely that Republicans were “undermining democracy” like “Hitler did.”
“We are watching something that we haven’t seen for a long time in this country, but it happens in many democracies, and it is the weak point of democracies when one side figures out how to use democracy to undermine democracy,” Dean said. “So what these folks are doing, essentially, is what Hitler did. It is what Viktor Orbán did in Hungary.”
Fact checks: 1) Orbán did no such thing in Hungary. Dean and his fellow totalitarian globalists in the Democrat Party simply hate nationalist, populist leaders; and 2) the side in America that has figured out how to use democracy to undermine democracy is the left, not the right. Who holds all the political and cultural power now? The Democrats. How did they get it? By undermining democracy.
Dean went on to rant that Republicans “are abandoning democracy” because they “can’t win in a democracy.” Who committed massive voter fraud to win the 2020 election? Democrats, not Republicans. Who is resisting voter integrity laws? Democrats, not Republicans, because they can’t win in a democracy.
