Cuomo Pardons Felons, Touts ‘Power of Redemption’

August 21, 2021

Disgraced, lethally incompetent New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Tuesday that he has decided to commute the sentences of five felons and to pardon five more to “harness the power of redemption.”

Five men, including a convicted teenage murderer, a cop killer, a member of the “Brooklyn Six,” and a serial robber had their sentences commuted. Five other men, all illegal aliens, were pardoned, meaning that their sentences were struck from their records and they can’t be deported for having a criminal record.

It’s unclear how, or even if, any of the released criminals has actually earned the redemption Cuomo mentioned.

“One of the foundational promises of New York State is that of equal justice, and equal compassion, for all under the law,” the pro-crime Cuomo blathered in a statement.

New York Lt. Gov. New York Kathy Hochul, who Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) said empowered Cuomo’s “disgusting” behavior, will take Cuomo’s place when he steps down. And the state will continue to suffer under the policies and leadership of pro-crime Democrats.
