Clyburn: GOP Taking ‘Black History Out of the Schools’ by Calling It ‘Theory’

March 1, 2022

Sunday on CBS’s Face the Nation, race-mongering Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) claimed disingenuously that Republicans were attempting to remove “black history” from schools by calling it Critical Race Theory (CRT).

Asked if Democrats are focused too much on the culture war, Clyburn replied, “Well, culture wars are a problem, but it’s not coming from the Democrats.”

Yes, it is coming from the Democrats. The cultural transformation of America has been the Democrat agenda for over 50 years, and Republicans are merely trying, albeit tepidly and belatedly, to stem that tide. But the left blames the right for waging the culture war because leftists blame the right for everything of which they themselves are guilty.

Clyburn turned the conversation to CRT, currently the most volatile front of the culture war. “When you’re talking about Critical Race Theory, we aren’t putting that out there.”

Yes, they are. The Democrats are trying to distance themselves from the term, but they are nevertheless pushing the racist ideology of Critical Race Theory hard not only in schools but in literally every institution in America, from corporate boardrooms to government agencies.

“We can’t let people just take black history out of the schools agenda and call it a theory…” Clyburn propagandized. “When people are taking books of black authors out of the schools, that to me cannot be allowed to stand unchallenged.”

No one is taking black history out of the curriculum or removing black authors from schools. That is a lie and pure demagoguery. CRT is not black history — it is racist, Marxist indoctrination, and it is the left, not the right, that is promoting it. And American parents of all colors are passionately, righteously opposed to it.
