Clooney, DiCaprio Sign Letter Opposing Voter Integrity Laws

April 15, 2021

An open letter published Wednesday, signed by a gaggle of virtue-signaling, left-wing Hollywood celebrities and studios, including Netflix and ViacomCBS, protests purported “discriminatory” voter integrity laws that they believe suppress minority voting access.

Among the signatories are “climate change” hypocrites George Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio, as well as the usual activist suspects like Amy Schumer, Mark Ruffalo, and Star Wars director J.J. Abrams.

Hundreds of “woke” corporations such as Bank of America, Amazon, Twitter, and Starbucks also signed the letter, which appeared in advertisements in the New York Times and Washington Post. The ads likely refer to Georgia’s new voter integrity law as well as similar bills under consideration in other states.

“We stand for democracy,” the letter states. “A beautifully American idea, but a reality denied to many for much of this nation’s history… For American democracy to work for any of us, we must ensure the right to vote for all of us. We all should feel a responsibility to defend the right to vote and to oppose any discriminatory legislation or measures that restrict or prevent any eligible voter from having an equal and fair opportunity to cast a ballot.”

This is all propaganda, because election integrity laws do not “suppress” anyone’s vote. They are designed to reduce massive voter fraud, which Democrats desperately need to win elections.
