Ticket sellers for the Bill Clinton/Hillary Clinton speaking tour reportedly have been slashing prices to fill venues.
The former first couple kicked off a speaking tour in Las Vegas in November, 2018. Tickets were originally priced between $55.50 and $519, but occasionally dropped to $10 and $20 to fill seats. Premium seats that initially cost $1,785 were slashed 54% to $829. Prices fell more in other seating tiers, and sellers even began to try and unload tickets through Groupon.
The tour was described as “joint on-stage conversations with the two leaders sharing stories and inspiring anecdotes that shaped their historic careers in public service, while also discussing issues of the day and looking toward the future.”
