In the wake of Chick-fil-A’s disappointing decision to cave in to the bullying LGBT lobby and cease supporting Christian charities like the Salvation Army, comes the revelation that the presumed pro-Christian fast food chain is also funding leftist groups such as the smear organization, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).
Chick-fil-A’s 2017 990 IRS filing shows it made a $2,500 donation to the SPLC, as well as donations to other pro-abortion and pro-LGBT organizations, according to Breitbart News.
The SPLC is legitimized by the left-leaning mainstream media as their go-to, unbiased source for identifying “hate groups” around the nation. In fact, the SPLC is itself an anti-conservative hate group, falsely labeling right-wing groups such as the David Horowitz Freedom Center as “racist” and “Islamophobic.”
This new revelation will likely alienate the Chick-fil-A Foundation’s already disappointed conservative fan base even further. Economic repercussions are sure to follow. As the saying goes: Get woke, go broke.
