Sunday on Twitter, unhinged anti-Trump hysteric Cher fear-mongered that “DEMOCRACY WILL WITHER & DIE, & DICTATORS WILL THRIVE” in the wake of the recently-enacted “heartbeat” anti-abortion law in Texas, adding for good measure: “WOMEN WILL DIE.”

It’s hard to imagine how anyone can take her hyperbolic fantasies seriously, but this is exactly the kind of Handmaid’s Tale lunacy that is triggered in Democrats by any attempt to roll back Roe v. Wade.
Twitter maven Cher is on a roll. Last week, on the same topic of the Texas anti-abortion law, she incurred accusations of “Islamophobia” from her followers after wondering “when Texas will start mandating Burqas.” She hastened to assure them that she strongly affirmed a Muslim woman’s “choice” to wear a burqa — which begs the question, why does she accuse pro-life Texans of misogyny but support the actual misogyny of Islam’s sharia law?
