Cher for Biden: ‘I’ll Sing, Wave Goodbye, and That Will Be It’

October 26, 2020

Campaigning in Las Vegas on Saturday for Democrat presidential hopeful Joe Biden, anti-Trump hysteric and former entertainer Cher not only experienced technical difficulties, but seemed to be phoning in her appearance, telling attendees, “I’ll sing and then I’ll wave goodbye and that will be it.”

“And who do we want to win?” Cher asked the crowd prior to the technical issues. A tepid response of “Biden!” went up. “Okay,” Cher laughed awkwardly. “All right, I’m ready and then we’ll talk and then I’ll sing and then I’ll wave goodbye and that will be it,” she said.

In her short talk, Cher hilariously claimed that Biden is honest: “Something really important and that is you cannot build anything unless you build it on the truth, and I believe that is one of Joe’s great, great attributes is he is honest. He is truthful.”

She went on to make the equally comical claim that Biden “knows what he’s doing. He’s smart,” explaining that he will bring “the best people” into office who are “ready to work” and “change what this man in the White House has done.”

Trump is “ripping the guts out of America,” Cher continued. “If he got four more years, we wouldn’t recognize it. We wouldn’t have any of the freedoms that we have. I don’t even know that we’re going to be able to get the freedoms back. It’s going to take a long, long time to get the freedoms back that we’ve taken for granted.”

Typical of celebrity activists, Cher doesn’t know what she’s talking about, to put it mildly. Trump is making America great again, and that terrifies Cher and her fans.
