Chaos on Capitol Hill: Rev. Jesse Jackson, Activists Arrested

August 3, 2021

In a protest on Monday, race huckster and demagogue Rev. Jesse Jackson was arrested with other activists protesting for “voting rights” on Capitol Hill.

The protest was organized by the DC Poor People’s Campaign under “A National Call for Moral Revival.” Hundreds of people, including many “faith leaders” such as Jackson, made four demands during their “Moral Monday”:

  1. End the filibuster
  2. Pass all provisions of the For the People Act
  3. Fully restore the 1965 Voting Rights Act
  4. Raise the federal minimum wage to $15/hr

Some of the protesters, including Jackson, even lined up to be arrested by Capitol Police. Jackson was also arrested last week with 39 other people during a sit-in for “voting rights” at Democrat Sen. Kyrsten Sinema’s Arizona office.

The aforementioned demands, especially a $15 minimum wage, will do nothing to help poor people, and have nothing to do with moral revival. The only voting rights endangered right now are those of Republicans, whose votes are cancelled out by massive Democrat voter fraud and the Democrat push for voting rights for illegal aliens.
