Brazile to ‘Fox & Friends’: ‘You Cannot Erase My History’

August 25, 2020

Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s Fox & Friends, former Democratic National Committee chair Donna Brazile hijacked a segment with conservative commentator Tammy Bruce, calling her shameful and ranting that Bruce “cannot erase my history.”

Bruce correctly noted that “No Democratic has spoken out against the nature of what’s happening in Kenosha, Portland, Seattle, Baltimore, New York, Chicago. Americans have a choice, and the fact is that the Republicans are showing an expanse of what the American sensibility and what the American future is.”

Brazile countered, “This is why the choir sounds like a note coming from a scratched record. It sounds like I will never be an American in your world, because, after 400 years, my family cannot walk out of this house without fearing violence… Tammy, I see it every day. I see the violence, Tammy. Coming from someone who does not live my existence — you do not recognize my existence, Tammy. You do not recognize my existence!”

When Bruce said, “It’s a shame,” Brazile shot back, “You are the shameful one. You cannot erase my history.”

No, Brazile is the shameful one, outrageously claiming that American blacks can’t even leave their homes without facing racist violence. Black-on-white violence, which the media ignore, is several times the magnitude of the opposite, despite blacks constituting only 13% of the population. Playing the race card isn’t enough to justify the left’s nationwide rioting and looting.
