White House hopeful Cory Booker warned his competitors during the Democrat presidential debate on Wednesday not to fight each other but to “keep your eyes on the prize.”
“The person that’s enjoying this debate most right now is Donald Trump,” said Booker, playing peacemaker to the extremist and more moderate candidates. “As we pit Democrats against each other, while he is working right now to take away Americans’ health care.”
The lie that President Trump is working to deny American citizens their health care is a necessary one for the Dem candidates, most of whom are dangling the bait of free health care for everyone in America, including illegals — a promise they can’t possibly keep.
“This pitting progressives against moderates, saying that one is not realistic and the other does not care enough, that to me is dividing our party and demoralizing us in the face of the real enemy here,” he said. “I was raised by two civil rights parents who told me to always keep your eyes on the prize,” Booker added.
