Thursday on MSNBC’s The Last Word, White House hopeful Sen. Cory Booker said he doesn’t believe the Democrat Party’s should have two men on the ticket.
Asked by host Lawrence O’Donnell if he could run on a ticket with Democrat presidential frontrunner Joe Biden, Booker replied, “I do not think there should be two men on a ticket. I think that, given the field we have…we should have tickets that have racial and gender diversity in them.”
Asked if he could support Biden as the nominee, Booker added, “I’m going to say this with as much gravity as I can communicate: whoever comes out of that nomination process as our nominee, everybody, everybody should join ranks and support them and help them.”
