Sen. Cory Booker (D., N.J.) said in an interview with New York Magazine published Wednesday that it would be “irresponsible” for him not to consider a presidential run in 2020.
“Of course the presidency will be something I consider. It would be irresponsible not to,” said the New Jersey Democrat, who recently drew ridicule and condemnation for comparing himself to Spartacus and using Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation hearings as an opportunity to grandstand.
