Presidential hopeful Joe Biden said during a campaign stop in Hampton, New Hampshire that America needs a “green revolution” to tackle climate change.
“It’s even more urgent now,” Biden said on Monday. “We do need to finish this green revolution and we can do it in a way that’s rational, we can do it, afford it, and get it done now.” He told members of the audience that he has been a “leader” on climate change.
Other Dem candidates such as Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, and Cory Booker are promoting their own Green New Deal plans. Biden said that he will announce his plan for a “green revolution” by the end of the month.
