During an NBC town hall in Miami on Monday, Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden stated that “the only responsible response” to the confirmation of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court is to make Roe v. Wade “the law of the land.”
In a press release in September, abortion mill Planned Parenthood expressed concern that Trump would fill the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s Supreme Court seat with “a nominee hostile to reproductive freedom, civil rights, democracy, and health care…”
Asked about this threat, Biden replied, “Number one, we don’t know exactly what she will do, although the expectation is that she may very well move to over… overview… overrule Roe. The only responsible response to that would be to pass legislation making Roe the law of the land. That’s what I would do.”
President Trump tweeted Tuesday about Biden and his stance on abortion: “Biden and Democrats just clarified the fact that they are fully in favor of (very) LATE TERM ABORTION, right up until the time of birth, and beyond – which would be execution. Biden even endorsed the Governor of Virginia, who stated this clearly for all to hear. GET OUT & VOTE!!!“
