In an interview clip on Tuesday on MSNBC’s MTP Daily, White House hopeful Joe Biden said he would not give President Trump “the benefit of the doubt” for the fatal airstrike of Iranian terror chief Qasem Soleimani.
“It takes us closer to war,” Biden said. “We are putting 18,000 more troops in the region. Have they planned ahead of time to make sure they secure all the bases we have and all the areas where Americans are more vulnerable because of proxies of Iran?”
Asked if he gives Trump the benefit of the doubt when he says there was intelligence of an imminent attack, Biden replied, “I don’t give him the benefit of the doubt of anything… It could be true, but I don’t give him the benefit of the doubt because he’s lied so much about virtually everything.”
As noted by Breitbart News, a Trump communications director called Joe “wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades. So, now Biden is trying to rewrite history. He’s telling lie after lie to voters on a whole host of issues.”
