A Monmouth University Poll released Monday showed that White House frontrunner Joe Biden has dropped into a statistical three-way tie with competitors Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.
The poll, taken August 16–20 among 800 U.S. adults, shows Warren and Sanders tied at 20% support, followed by Biden in third place with 19%. Factoring in the margin of error, that makes the three statistically tied.
Compared to Monmouth’s June poll, these results represent an increase in support for both Sanders (up from 14%) and Warren (up from 15%), and a significant drop for Biden (down from 32%), according to Breitbart News.
Sen. Kamala Harris held her fourth place position with 8% support, followed by Sen. Cory Booker (4%), Mayor Pete Buttigieg (4%), Andrew Yang (3%), and Julián Castro, Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke, and Marianne Williamson all at 2%.
