White House frontrunner Joe Biden continued his ongoing streak of awkward blunders Thursday in the Democrat primary debate.
Breitbart News compiled a list of nine moments when the aging candidate misspoke, digressed bizarrely, or displayed odd bodily behavior. They include Biden referring to himself as a Congressman instead of Senator, referring to Bernie Sanders as “president,” struggling to keep his dentures in place, claiming that “no one should be in jail for a nonviolent crime,” and falsely claiming that he and former President Barack Obama “didn’t lock people in cages” at the border.
At one point Biden made a strange, dated reference to a “record player in a floundering answer on education, which drew social media ridicule. New Yorker writer Emily Nussbaum, for example, tweeted: “I truly don’t understand wtf Biden is talking about. ‘Make sure you have the record player on at night’? This is messed up. And also, not an answer to the question.”
President Trump also mocked Biden with a Facebook GIF of Biden’s head spinning on a vinyl album.
