According to a University of Texas/Texas Tribune poll released Monday, Democrat presidential frontrunner Joe Biden holds a narrow lead in Texas over his competition Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and Sen. Bernie Sanders.
The internet survey shows Biden with 23% support from Democrat primary voters, O’Rourke with 15%, Warren with 14%, and Sanders with 12%. But factoring in the margin of error means that all three of Biden’s competitors are in a statistical tie for second place. South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Kamala Harris trail with 8% and 5%, respectively.
The poll also found that Texas registered voters are virtually split on re-electing President Trump: 39% would “definitely” reelect him, 43% would not.
