According to a Morning Consult poll released Tuesday, 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden leads his closest Democrat rival by a double-digit figure.
The national poll of registered voters shows that Biden has a solid 36% backing, 14 points over Sen. Bernie Sanders at 22%. The poll showed a 6-point jump in Biden’s support since announcing his run for the White House, while Sanders has dipped 2 points.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren is in third place with 9%; Mayor Pete Buttigieg in fourth with 8%; and Kamala Harris is in fifth place at 6%.
