Biden: Cops ‘Become the Enemy’ When They ‘Invade’ Like Military

July 9, 2020

In an interview with NowThis News published on Wednesday, Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden said law enforcement “become the enemy” when using “surplus military equipment” and operating as an invading military in American neighborhoods.

“There’s a whole range of things that we can do,” Biden said in response to a question about police reform. “The idea of no-knock warrants for drug cases is bizarre. We don’t need that. It just invites trouble. That’s how Breonna [Taylor] was killed…

“Surplus military equipment for law enforcement, they don’t need that,” Biden added. “The last thing you need is an up-armored Humvee coming into a neighborhood — it’s like the military invading — they don’t know anybody. They become the enemy. They’re supposed to be protecting these people.”

In this time of violence and hatred directed at law enforcement, instead of standing up for the police, Biden has placed himself firmly in the camp of radicals who see police as the problem.
