White House contender Joe Biden’s campaign is now selling t-shirts with the slogan “beat him like a drum” — referring to the floundering candidate’s promise to soundly defeat President Trump in the 2020 election.
Biden used the phrase in Tuesday’s Democrat presidential debate — not for the first time — while defending himself and son Hunter against accusations of nepotism and corruption in Ukraine and China.
“My son did nothing wrong. I did nothing wrong. I carried out the policy of the United States government in rooting out corruption in Ukraine,” Biden protested. “The president and his thugs are lying. He doesn’t want me to be the candidate. If I’m the candidate, he knows I will beat him like a drum.”
Apart from the fact that Biden doesn’t stand a chance against Trump, imagine the Democrat outrage if Trump supporters wore a slogan urging violence against Biden.
