In his speech at the White House on Monday, senile puppet President Joe Biden finally publicly addressed the nation regarding the shocking fall of Afghanistan.
“The truth is, this did unfold more quickly than anticipated,” Biden conceded. “I am president of the United States and the buck stops with me. I’m deeply saddened by the facts we now face but I do not regret my decision to end America’s warfighting in Afghanistan.”
Ending the war in Afghanistan and bringing our troops home was former President Trump’s decision, not Biden’s. Biden’s decision was to throw Trump’s exit strategy out the window, directly causing the epic foreign policy disaster.
“Our mission in Afghanistan was never supposed to be nation-building, it was never supposed to be to build a unified, centralized democracy,” he lied. At the time, Biden fully supported said nation-building. But he is a congenital liar.
Biden went on to blame Trump, predictably, for negotiating the agreement with the Taliban before he came into office. But not even the leftist mainstream media were buying his excuses. Biden has experienced nearly universal condemnation for his responsibility for the Afghan debacle and for remaining publicly silent about it, including his attempt to blame Trump.
