Bernie on Carville: ‘I Don’t Think He’s Terribly Relevant’

May 4, 2021

Sunday on NBC’s Meet the Press, Sen. Bernie Sanders responded to political strategist James Carville saying the Democratic Party “can’t be more liberal” than Sen. Joe Manchin or they will not be able to pass any of their legislation.

The lifelong communist Sanders shrugged off Carville’s remarks, saying “James Carville can live in his world. I don’t think he’s terribly relevant to what happens in Congress right now.”

Sanders went on to ramble about how “dental care, hearing aids and eyeglasses should be a part of Medicare,” but the key takeaway here is that Sanders, despite his “Independent” label, is far-left even of Clinton strategist Carville, and he rejects any moderating suggestion within the Democrat Party that this country should not veer as radically left as possible while it holds all the political control.
