In an interview with The Breakfast Club last Friday, Rep. Karen Bass, a communist and potential Democrat Vice Presidential pick, claimed that 154,000 Americans are dead from the coronavirus because President Trump “really doesn’t care.”
“I was just completely obsessed behind this virus, because, I mean, right now 154,000 people are dead, and they didn’t have to die,” declared Bass. “They died because we have a president who really doesn’t care and thinks denial is the way to deal with this.”
Bass agreed with the show’s host that “systemic racism” is to blame for higher rates of certain health problems among blacks, and accused the Trump administration of hiding demographic data of coronavirus deaths because “a huge percentage of it would be black, brown, Pacific Islanders and Native Americans.”
It suits the left’s agenda to claim Trump is racist and heartless and to blame chimeric “systemic racism” rather than acknowledge that the behavior of those minorities is a real factor in coronavirus deaths.
