“Creepy porn lawyer” Michael Avenatti has confessed to being “scared” of facing prison time after being arrested for trying to extort between $15 and $25 million from sports apparel giant Nike. In addition to the Nike charge, he has been charged with wire fraud and bank fraud in a separate case out of California.
Avenatti reportedly sounded somewhat defeatist during a recent interview when he admitted that he’s “nervous” and “scared” about possibly being put behind bars. But when asked if he is guilty of the Nike accusation, he responded, “No, and any suggestion is absolutely absurd.”
