A former partner of Michael Avenatti claims that the man Tucker Carlson dubbed “Creepy Porn Lawyer” reportedly stiffed a paraplegic man with mental health problems out of a $4 million personal injury settlement.
In his own lawsuit against Avenatti for unpaid profits from their now-defunct law firm, attorney Jason Frank revealed that Avenatti had won a $4 million settlement on behalf of client Geoffrey Johnson in a major personal injury claim against the City of Los Angeles. But according to bank records, the $4 million was put in a trust account rather than being sent directly to Johnson, who was paid only about $2,900 per month after the settlement.
Avenatti says the allegation is outrageous.
