The Green New Deal plan introduced by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (often referred to simply as AOC) and backed by such prominent Democrats as Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders, reportedly was crafted by three far-left organizations and is being promoted by a coalition of well-funded leftist groups and agitators.
Breitbart’s Aaron Klein reports that some of the entities are tied to leftist billionaire financier George Soros and to such radical groups as Occupy Wall Street and Black Lives Matter. The three groups that helped to draw up the plan were the Sunrise Movement, Justice Democrats, and New Consensus.
