On Wednesday, presidential hopeful Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders released radical recommendations for the party platform crafted by task forces, including a proposal to solve global warming, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) declared on Twitter that the collaboration “improved Biden’s positions.”
“I do believe that the Climate Task Force effort meaningfully & substantively improved Biden’s positions. Of course, like in any collaborative effort, there are areas of negotiation and compromise,” AOC wrote.
“But I do believe that the Climate Task Force effort meaningfully & substantively improved Biden’s positions…” AOC and former SecState John Kerry head up that task force.
“The fact Joe Biden has embraced Bernie Sanders’ radical agenda verbatim is proof that while Bernie may not be the one leading the Democrat Party, Biden is more than happy to be his champion in its lurch to the left,” said Steve Guest, RNC rapid response director for the Trump 2020 campaign.
