AOC Proposes ‘Progressive Pen Pal Program’ to Save Post Office

August 18, 2020

In an Instagram chat on Sunday, radical Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez suggested setting up a “progressive pen pal program” to help support the Post Office, which leftists claim is under assault from President Trump to undermine their push for voting-by-mail.

“I have been thinking about ways to help you help the post office,” Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) mused. “So one of the best ways to support the post office is to buy stamps,” she continued. “What do you all think — would you guys be down and excited if I set up a national progressive pen pal program. Do all the work of connecting you to somebody else. We would offer some maybe conversation prompts or postcard prompts and maybe even a printable postcard format?

“You just said it out,” she continued. “Would you guys be down? Do you like that idea?” As Breitbart News notes, Ocasio-Cortez’s program would have to generate an additional 16.3 billion new pieces of mail to make up for the P.O.’s $9 billion loss last rear. “That’s about 49 pen pal letters per American a year.”

AOC and her comrades are presenting themselves as the saviors of the Post Office in the face of Trump’s purported voter suppression — because voting-by-mail will enable widespread Democrat voter fraud.
