Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) tweeted on Tuesday night that President Trump is a white supremacist, warning that “This is fascism at our door.”
“Donald Trump is a white supremacist. People have been warning about this for a long time. They were ridiculed, called hyperbolic & radical – not bc they were wrong, but bc others couldn’t accept that our country elected a supremacist as President,” AOC wrote, her tweet accompanying a clip of an exchange from the debate in which moderator Chris Wallace asked Trump to condemn white supremacists — something he has done repeatedly and publicly.
Nevertheless, Wallace demanded that Trump once again “condemn white supremacists and militia groups and to say that they need to stand down and not add to the violence in a number of these cities as we saw in Kenosha and as we’ve seen in Portland?” (White supremacists and militia groups have not “added to the violence” in these cities torn by rioting on the part of Black Lives Matter demonstrators and Antifa agitators, but that too is part of the media’s false narrative.)
Ocasio-Cortez is a race-mongering radical intent on revolution. The notion that Trump is a white supremacist is not merely ludicrous, but a dangerous, demagogic smear that the racist left perpetuates with zero evidence in order to facilitate violent racial tension and division in the country. These lies are tearing America apart.
