In a December Vanity Fair profile, radical freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) described President Trump as a “racist visionary” and slammed “these motherfuckers… only paying $750 a year in taxes” who won’t support big government programs such as free college tuition.
“These are the same people saying that we can’t have tuition-free public colleges because there’s no money,” AOC fumed, “when these motherfuckers are only paying $750 a year in taxes,” referring to a debunked New York Times report falsely alleging that Trump paid only $750 in taxes in 2016 and 2017.
She went on to slander Trump as a “racist visionary” who gets Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to do his bidding. “[McConnell] doesn’t do anything without Trump’s blessing. Trump says, ‘Jump.’ McConnell says, ‘How high?’ Trump never does what McConnell says.”
Ocasio-Cortez went on to state — correctly, this time — that the election is “not about a decision between two candidates” but “about a decision between two countries.” It’s true that the candidates represent two irreconcilable, conflicting visions for America: Donald Trump’s vision to make America great again, and Joe Biden’s (and AOC’s) totalitarian vision to fundamentally transform the U.S. into a Progressive utopia.
