Anti-Gun Demagogue Baldwin May Face Manslaughter Charge

October 25, 2021

In the wake of actor/activist Alec Baldwin discharging a gun on a movie set Thursday, killing the cinematographer and and injuring the director, the anti-gun demagogue may be facing manslaughter charges.

Law enforcement in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is currently investigating the apparent accident, which occurred on the set of the western movie Rust. It’s unclear if Baldwin will be charged with any crimes, but he was a producer on the film in addition to being the one firing the gun, so legal responsibility may fall on him and the other producers for cost-cutting negligence.

As Breitbart News notes, the tragic shooting highlights Baldwin’s hateful anti-gun activism, which includes his argument that the Second Amendment “is not a moral credit card that buys you all the guns you want. The law needs to be rethought,” as he tweeted in 2018.

Baldwin also appeared in an ad for the 2016 anti-gun documentary Making a Killing, in which the actor encouraged people to throw screening parties for their friends. And his activism has included aiming to take down the National Rifle Association.

“There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours. I’m fully cooperating with the police investigation,” Baldwin tweeted on Friday. “My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna.”

Now watch Hollywood blame the gun itself, rather than Baldwin’s lethal negligence, because Progressives never hold their own accountable.
