Amnesty Intl. Demands Travel Sites Boycott Israeli Settlements

February 1, 2019

Amnesty International, which has received financing from billionaire activist George Soros’s Open Society Foundations, has advocated the boycott of tourism in West Bank Israeli communities and eastern Jerusalem.

Using the label, “Occupied Palestinian Territories,” which suggests that Israel stole the land from Palestinians, Amnesty singled out Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia and TripAdvisor for profiting from what the NGO claims are “war crimes” by facilitating tourism to those territories.

Amnesty stated, “In doing business with settlements, all four companies are contributing to, and profiting from, the maintenance, development and expansion of illegal settlements, which amount to war crimes under international criminal law.”
