After footage leaked showing hundreds of unmasked guests partying Saturday night at former President Barack Obama’s 60th birthday bash in Martha’s Vineyard, Americans took to social media to vent their outrage at the COVID hypocrisy.
Last week, a spokeswoman claimed falsely that the lying, wealthy Obamas, who had planned to have 600 guests in attendance, had decided to “significantly scale back the event to include only family and close friends” due to “the new spread of the Delta variant.” Actually, it was due to the public outcry over the hypocrisy of Democrats like Obama restricting ordinary Americans to tiny, masked gatherings while living like kings.
That spokeswoman’s pronouncement turned out to be a lie, as the party proceeded full-steam ahead with hundreds of guests including lefty supporters Jay-Z, Steven Spielberg, George Clooney, and Bruce Springsteen, none of whom were masked or practiced social distancing, according to leaked video. Outrage was swift, with “Maskless Obama” even trending on Twitter Sunday afternoon.
“Obama and all his elite friends think they are above us peasants,” tweeted Graham Allen. “Rules for thee and not for me!”
