Actor, social media activist, and anger management failure Alec Baldwin claimed Sunday on Twitter that “Russia runs everything now” and blamed the Kremlin for the death of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Epstein, facing charges of child sex trafficking, was found dead in his cell on Saturday at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York, spawning widespread speculation he was murdered to prevent him from revealing damaging information on powerful figures. Baldwin pinned the purported murder on Russia.
“The Russians killed Epstein,” tweeted the Trump-deranged Baldwin, who occasionally mocks the President in imitation on Saturday Night Live. “They’re in charge of everything now.”
As noted at Breitbart News, Baldwin has long been obsessed with an imagined, conspiratorial relationship between Trump and Russia, despite a special counsel report finding no evidence of collusion between the two during the 2016 election. Baldwin even claimed the U.S. was “being played” by Russia through the blackmail of Trump over a compromising “pee-pee tape.”
